In a low-scoring contest this weekend, the Denver Broncos clinched a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix threw an early touchdown pass and kicker Wil Lutz provided the game-winning go-ahead field goal to seal the hard-fought win.

Dominant Performance Wins Contest

Despite recording nine sacks against Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 following giving up a two-point play in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 offensive yards during the entire game.

Nix, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's short kick with approximately five minutes left.

Record Difficulties for Jets Offense

Despite their dismal performance, the Jets maintained possession with a opportunity to score a possible winning score. But Fields was sacked on fourth down from the Denver 44 when coach Aaron Glenn chose to go for it rather than calling on specialist Nick Folk for a long field-goal attempt.
